What is coaching?
Coaching is a future focused process of transformation. As a coach, I partner with you on your path to change. I provide guidance and accountability so you can achieve your vision of transformation. With my expertise in business, behavior change, hormonal health, and positive psychology I’ll help you make the personalized, holistic lifestyle changes needed to build a stronger, more resilient you so you can increase your impact in your business and the world while achieving your personal goals for success.
Coaching is not about quick fixes or walking you through singular projects. It’s about self transformation. Through coaching we’ll go through the discovery stages: getting clear on what you want and your ultimate vision. From there we will pinpoint your values and mission, your deep truths, and assure that your goals are congruent with the most authentic version of you. Together we will create clear goals for your career and business, and we’ll assure your health is on track to sustain your work. We then chart the path to success—how to make your vision a reality. Then comes achievement and execution: I’ll support you as you unleash the creativity and power that you already possess, so you can act on the big plans you have for your life. You’ll leave each session feeling heard, understood and witnessed.Together we will navigate obstacles on your path to success.
How is coaching different from therapy?
As an integrative health and business coach, I work with clients who want to advance their careers while feeling great in their bodies and lives in general. While I am dedicated to helping my clients make the business and lifestyle changes necessary for their success, I am not a therapist. I cannot diagnose and treat mental illness. Nor do I do deep emotional work related to past traumas. I work with clients who face challenges with business, stress, self-care, and general wellness. Therapy, on the other hand, thoroughly assesses and addresses issues from the past.
Can I work with a therapist and coach at the same time?
Absolutely. It’s entirely up to you to decide the level of support you need in your life to execute change, healing, and actualizing the most robust vision for your life. While in many cases therapy is not needed, it may also be a lovely addition to your change strategy.
Some of my most successful clients have done just that. I believe that personal development is key to success, and encourage you to develop your team of support as well. While self care is a lovely practice, the truth is, we can’t always do it alone. Personally, I have successfully worked concurrently with a coach and therapist myself.
Are you career coach?
No. I do not specialize in executive coaching, the interview process or coaching for traditional employment. While I do work with women who are traditionally employed our work together focuses on leadership development, and making their spiritual path and happiness the foundation of their success. My coaching practice is geared specifically to women who either are, or want to explore becoming, entrepreneurs. All of my work is about developing leadership from within.
Do you offer discounted rates?
I reserve two coaching spots for women under 30 who are making less than $80,000 per year, and they receive a scholarship package at a discounted rate. These spots are typically booked well in advance. If you are interested in exploring this option contact email@example.com
However, if you really want to work together but can’t afford my rates, I encourage you to use the resources offered on my website and newsletter as guidance to go for your dreams. You can create the abundance and health you desire now. And with dedicated effort I wouldn’t be surprised if you could easily afford high quality coaching, like I provide, in the very near future!
What is an astrology chart and why is it important?
Your natal chart is a cosmic road map representing the spiritual potential that existed at the moment of your birth. You are the material representation of that moment: the placement of the planets and how those energies converge and imprint upon your disposition, your environment, and your unique life path. Your chart can help you get a sense of your whole self while also decoding the current cycles of your life and the future cycles you have yet to encounter.
By exploring your natal chart, you can uncover your gifts, your deep-seated beliefs, your passions, and your true calling in this world. You can tap into the power and energy that allows you to achieve your life’s work in a way that feels authentic and natural.
Do you predict the future with astrology?
No. While astrology readings show your realm of possibility, you ultimately decide how you navigate your path. I can’t predict the future, and the future is not set in stone. What you discover in your chart can help you make growth-oriented decisions and leverage your potential, so you can orient yourself towards the success and the future you desire. Every choice you make dictates a series of events in your life. The point of power is always in the present moment. Your free will determines your life. Own your power.
Do I need to know my exact birth time to do my astrology chart?
The stars and planets are in constant motion, meaning the cosmic energies surrounding your birth are dependent on the time that it occurred. It is important to have the most accurate birth time in order to give you the most accurate reading—even a four minute time error could result in a major change in your chart. While I am happy to work with you to give you a reading with integrity, I encourage you to do as much as you can to verify your birth time in advance.
If it is impossible to figure out your birth time, we have two choices: we can either do a solar chart reading or a chart rectification process. Both of these options will limit the potential for predictive work even further. It’s always ideal to rule out the possibility of getting an accurate birth time first.
Where are you located? Do you see clients in person?
I live in both Brooklyn, NY and upstate New York in the Hudson Valley. I have a limited amount of in person sessions per month in NYC. The majority of my work is done virtually. While I primarily coach via the telephone, I also use Skype, Google Hangouts, and FaceTime.
I live on the other side of the world. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely. My clients are rocking their businesses and potential all over the world.
What qualifies you to do this work?
I am a Duke Integrative Medicine Certified Health Coach. This rigorous training took two full years to complete. At this time, health coaching is undergoing a regulation process that will require passing a board exam and obtaining licensure. Currently, I am compliant with national regulations at the highest standards and will be sitting the board exam as soon as it is made available.
Additionally, I have trained with Jessica Drummond and am undergoing a certification process in women’s hormonal health via The Integrative Women’s Health Institute.
I also became a registered yoga teacher through Jeffrey Migdow, MD. As a doctor, Jeff specialized in the connection between the endocrine system and the chakras from an integrative wellness perspective. In addition, I became an Ayurvedic Nutritionist, board certified via the AADP.
I became certified in Positive Psychology through the WholeBeing Institute led by eminent positive psychology scholars Dr. Tal Ben Shahar and Dr. Maria Sirois. I then served as their teaching assistant to apprentice with them for one additional year.
In business, I worked at the number one consulting firm in the world, where I consistently received acknowledgement as a top performer. After I left corporate, I continued consulting in business at a hedge fund in NYC.
My astrological training began in 2001 when I mentored with a moon cycle priestess. My first official mentorship and training in astrology happened years later with Debra Silverman. Since then I’ve studied with Rebecca Gordon, and Stephanie Azaria. I’ve also completed Robert Ohotto’s Soul Destiny distance training program. I also studied with world renowned intuitive, Sonia Choquette for years, learning the art of intuitive counseling. As a member of Six Sensory New York, I assumed a leadership role in her community to inspire everyday use of the intuitive arts.
Further, I have coached and counseled over a thousand clients. Over the last five years, I have devoted myself to mastering the art of practitioning transformation.
