Sun Signs – Unlock Your Hidden Talent by Connecting with Your Sun Sign

Though all the planets and signs contribute to who you are and how you manifest in the world, your sun sign has a particularly strong influence. As we navigate the Lunar Logic Revolution together, you’ll learn more about how the planets and signs interact and how that affects you, but the best thing you can do now is to get to know your own sun sign and learn how to leverage your innate strengths.

As we move forward, please note that astrology is a science of intuition.  As you read about your sign, decide if what I wrote resonates with you. It may or may not, and that’s ok. This is a practice in bringing greater awareness to yourself, your talents, and your preferences. Remember that you are ALWAYS the expert of you!

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

As an Aries, you are a born boss: you are the initiator that comes up with good ideas and gives direction to others. Your hidden talent is delegation, so when it comes to following through on projects, be sure to manage. Capitalize on your jump-start energy and pass your vision along to others you trust to get the job done. As a cardinal fire sign of action, growth, and new beginnings, Aries knows what it wants. Be sure to clear the decks so you can zero in on your exact desire and make it happen. Your future goals and ambitions call you forward.

Business: You love to feel on fire, and a sense of clarity in your business will always energize you. Connect with your mission, and make sure your business goals and plans are aligned. When you stop tracking your passion, you can lose your focus, so keep your finger on the pulse of what lights you up.

Health: To stay in good health, lean into your ability to take charge and initiate. Pay attention to your sinus, head, teeth and eyes, particularly if you’re prone to headaches and migraines. Don’t forget to exercise.  Kickboxing, running, spinning and other high cardio activities refresh and inspire you.

Emotional Well-being: Keep the beat of what feels fresh and inspired in your life. Constantly evaluate and eliminate what isn’t serving you for the future—remember: quitting is a sign of self-honoring. You also need to learn how to be in the moment, so develop a mindfulness practice. Embrace discipline and be careful of your rebellious tendencies!

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

As a Taurus, you are tough, loyal, and steadfast in commitment, which means that when you take something on, you are sure to get it done. As tough as you are, you maintain a gentle, feel-good presence, and you embody an energy of practicality, support, and luxury. Your secret talent is providing stability with a feminine twist: you have a keen sense of beauty and sensuality, and you nurture and nourish others well. Own your independence and choose your projects wisely, because once you start you won’t stop until everything is done and done well. To motivate yourself, indulge your senses.

Business: Taurus is a slow and steady sign that takes a pragmatic approach and enjoys seeing things through to completion. You like to do things well, so focus on quality, not quantity, in your business. You also have a extremely refined sensibility.  Hold tight to your standards! You raise the bar for others.

Health: Own your voice, and commit to speaking your truth. Pay close attention to your neck, throat and thyroid. Even if you don’t think you have a good voice, belt out songs whenever you can.  Opening the throat chakra empowers you and fortifies your well-being. Further, nourish yourself with delicious food.

Emotional Well-being: Connect with what makes you feel good, grounded, nourished, supported and indulged. As a Taurus, you know that self-care is the bedrock of great work and abundance, so indulge in the finer things. Fill your home with beauty. Have amazing sex. Wear nice clothes. Embrace your sophistication.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 21)

As a Gemini, ideas, motivation and creativity are brewing inside of you, and you can’t wait to bring them to fruition. Known for being hot and cold—tending to embody different personalities—Geminis are high energy and can move so quickly they sometimes forget to keep up with themselves. To remedy that, get grounded and know what your red flags are so you don’t burn out. As a Gemini, your secret talent is networking and “cross pollination.” With your work, you make great things happen by connecting people and ideas in unique ways. You are fantastic at communicating your ideas and visions for collaboration.

Business:  Choose a career that fulfills your need for versatility, change, and freedom. With a million ideas running through your mind at any minute, it’s crucial for you to discern exactly what will excel your career—then commit to it. Capitalize on your powers for brainstorming and communication, and follow through on your brilliant ideas.

Health: A healthy Gemini works to develop and maintain a strong connection between her mind and body. Emotional and body literacy are key to staying on track, so develop a mindfulness practice. You move fast, so be careful with your arms, hands, and fingers. Slow down, check in, and pace yourself.

Emotional Well-being: As a Gemini, you tend to overindulge your extroverted side, so be aware of your tendency to run yourself ragged. To stay grounded, you have to consciously slow down and acknowledge your introverted needs. Quiet the mind, and stop multi-tasking for a bit. Truly, it’s essential.

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)

As one of the most loving and nurturing signs of the zodiac, you lead with a healing demeanor. Yet, you are also a fierce protector of the people and things you love—especially when they feel threatened—and that translates to your propensity to create security and surety in your life. Beyond having a feminine power presence, your secret talent lies in making money and building on your financial security so that you can boldly pursue whatever is on your horizon, or the horizons of those you love, with peace of mind. Build your nest egg, and simultaneously enjoy nesting in your home, too.

Business: Engage your ability to save, take care of your finances and plan for your future. Get your financial books in order, and know your numbers. Make sure you have a solid business model in place, because that is what will give you the confidence and security to keep going.

Health: Cancerians prioritize security, home, and family, because it replenishes them. Be certain to have a comfortable living space and spend time with close friends and family. Developing reciprocal relationships will help you thrive. Be sure to pay attention to your breasts, chest, and stomach.

Emotional Well-being: While you are inclined to focus on nurturing your family and relationships, be sure to nourish yourself as well. Develop discipline with self care. Create space in your life to get cozy and go inward. Your empathetic and compassionate qualities make you a giver, but you need to receive, too.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

As a Leo, your secret talent is leadership. Leos are ruled by the bright sun, so you are very comfortable and know what to do when you’re center stage—even though you might not always seek it out. You are very persuasive, and people feel comfortable following your lead. You have a strong capacity to show up authentically in the world—a great self-leader who is able to stay connected to yourself and be honest with your deepest longings and desires. Leos are naturally playful, confident, generous, and bold. They also understand the importance of fun in creativity and work. Engage others and help them find their own shine, too.

Business: Your enthusiasm and sense of fun is contagious and will provide great inspiration for your work and to your team. Let your inner child, and the inner children of your team, come out to explore new endeavors. Model leadership by displaying sophisticated listening and a sincere service-oriented mindset.

Health: Maintain a good balance of being both in and out of the spotlight. Own your awesomeness and let yourself shine! To shift the attention off you, mindfully focus on others and encourage them to speak their truth. This will give you respite and bring you back to center. For a healthy body, pay attention to your mid-back and heart.

Emotional Well-being: You might like a little drama, but you’re far better served by channeling your energy into creative pursuits. Approach conflict with an open heart. Speak compassionately and let your intuitive nature lead. Don’t forget to listen others, too. Then discharge any tension with creative exploration and fun.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

As a Virgo you are service-oriented. Your desire is to present the healthiest and most whole version of yourself and your environment so you can be productive in your work. I lovingly refer to Virgo as the “protector of purity,” as you have a refined sense of precision in all that you do. Your hidden talent lies in your ability to expertly manage the day-to-day. You are wrapped up in the details and you love it. You have a talent for organization, are great at overseeing the work of others, and at your best, know how to put fool-proof systems in place to get work done.

Business: You understand systems and know how to leverage them to your advantage. If you are facing a big challenge or endeavor in your business, create a plan. Set a budget. Get your systems in place for maximum success. But be sure to keep your eye on the big picture, and devote your efforts to the highest good of all.

Health: While you are very concerned about the health of the people and the world around you, remember that a strong self-care ritual aids you in your service to others. Pay particular attention to your digestive tract and stomach. Develop a meditation practice to quiet the mind and create coherence in your body.

Emotional Well-being: Remember that sometimes it’s okay to let go of the details. Release the need for perfection, and find ways to be in the mess. Not everything will always be picture-perfect. Also, your sensitive nature needs alone time—it balances you out. Take space when you need it and spend ample time by yourself.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 23)

Relationship-oriented Libras appreciate art, beauty, culture, and anything that honors the sophistication of the soul. A natural keeper of the peace, you care deeply about balance —not just getting the work done, but fostering a sense of harmony between your goals and needs and those of others. Your secret talent? You have a healing, judicious presence and you excel at making things happen from a relationship standpoint. Brilliantly, you build community and friendship. You are able to grow your personal brand well because you naturally connect with others and are good at collaboration. Rely on your sense of beauty and style, as it is a key skill that can help others.

Business: In your business, give yourself permission to favor things that feel good. You thrive in beautiful settings and in activities that leverage your sense of art and culture. Allow your inner artist to come alive in your business to support your creativity and access brilliant ideas. Follow your gut!

Health: Healthy Libras know how to eliminate what isn’t working in order to find equilibrium. It’s essential to let go of what’s not working and accentuate what is. Pay special attention to your kidneys and lower back, as well as your body’s ability to rid waste. To that end, focus on your digestive health.

Emotional Well-being: Because you value fairness and harmony so deeply, confronting conflict and owning darker emotions can challenge you. Reflect: how can you make tough moments less intimidating? Develop emotional resilience by learning how to accept, feel and express anger without aggression.

SCORPIO (October 24 – November 21)

Your fierce ambition and independence often put you in a place of power, and you have a strong determination to become the best at whatever you apply yourself to. Dedicated to profound truth and authenticity, you waste no time on the superficial. You thrive when you are digging deep. You are fearless in your willingness to penetrate the surface, find the meaning in darkness, and deal with complicated ideas, emotions, and secrets. Still though, you tend to protect yourself, and can come across as guarded. Paradoxically, intimacy lights you up and expands your sense of abundance. Your secret power: you have keen observation skills, and keep your attention on what matters most.

Business: Your serious, goal-driven and direct demeanor lead you to learn with intensity. Leverage this to get the job done. Your thorough nature sees through superficiality and helps you win. Get clear on your goal, and capitalize on your driven energy to push your business forward. Decide to succeed, and you will.

Health: Since Scorpios tend to have secrets, opening up and letting go is critical for their health. Engaging in cathartic activities is essential—whatever helps you release. Tame any jealousy with a spiritual practice. Having a healthy sex life is important, too. Pay attention to your genital areas and pelvic floors.

Emotional Well-being: You have a high standard for authenticity, so fear (or anything else holding you back) is your challenge. Surround yourself with close friends you can go deep with. When in large groups, stay open—you might find your new bestie. Be mindful of obsessive tendencies, and learn to let things go!

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

As a Sagittarius you love independence, passion, big-picture ideas, adventure, travel and philosophy. Sagittarians indulge in throwing out the rules and going against the grain, and your secret talent lies in your love of learning. A forever student, you live to explore, grow and attain the unattainable. As the sign of the archer, you are deeply motivated to aim towards your desire and hit it dead center. But that also means you are direct and say whatever is on your mind. Protect your autonomy—that will allow you to step into an optimal state to learn, teach, love and grow. Also, leverage your athleticism. It propels deep and powerful thought.

Business: Indulge your creativity to do things your way, and make changes that will unleash a sense of freedom in your career and business. You are motivated by meaning and purpose, so when you’re blocked in business, stay focused on what matters most: the big picture and your “why.”

Health: Healthy Sagittarians give themselves permission to be free, and this translates to the importance of physical exercise for high mobility. When a Sagittarius gets lazy, she loses some of her vitality. Stay honest and work hard. Pay attention to your hips, thighs and liver.

Emotional Well-being: Staying open, honest and connected to your emotions is essential for your progress. When stuck, spend time pondering the core concept that informs who you are, how you live, and what you desire to create. What do you inherently believe to be true of life? Devote yourself to this truth.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

As a Capricorn, your secret talent is getting shit done, with a tenacity like no other. You have a nose-to-the-grindstone work ethic, and you’re inspired to break away from indulgence in order to make things happen, defy the odds, and become the most extraordinary version of yourself. Because you are no enemy to hard work, you’re not afraid to go deep, be serious, and get practical. All of this means your business savvy is on point. The downside? Sometimes you endure too much and allow things to become harder than they need to be.  Don’t let your desire to succeed make you put up with stuff you really need to let go of!

Business: You are results-oriented, practical, and find satisfaction in accomplishment. Stake a claim and write out the goals most worthy of your attention—be very clear about what you want to achieve from the beginning, and make a plan of action. Then be sure to execute with precision.

Health: Healthy Capricorns know how to create foundations. Because you are structure-based, establishing a health routine is essential. Stay faithful to the rituals that enliven you and feed you energy. Pay attention to the structure of your body and take extra care of your skin, knees, bones, and teeth.

Emotional Well-being: You have a tendency towards being all work and no play. Remember to stop and find the ease and child-like wonder of the amazing things you do. Break away from your work for a moment and see the rainbow. Take regular breaks, and walk away from projects that drain you and offer no reward.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarians favor progressive ideas, thoughts, and the intellectual process. You question the effectiveness of having a tunnel-vision type determination when it comes to work. Instead, you like to take a bird’s-eye view of your projects to foster out-of-the-box, big-picture thinking. In that sense, you’re not afraid to ditch convention and break the rules. You leave space in your life to call in new beginnings that better serve your path. You are a crazy-smart, crazy-ordered genius with attention to detail. Your secret talent is your innovative and trendsetting capacities, which take your work to the next level. Driven by a need to make a difference, your cutting-edge ideas aim to enhance the good of many.

Business: Aquarians are great at capitalizing on diversity, so clearly identify what makes you and your business stand out. Challenge your limits and unleash your originality in your work. Do things your way to move forward with your mission. Your progressive sensibility does extremely well with design, innovation and leadership.

Health: The key to your health has to do with being able to individuate and separate. To that end, you are also driven to find community and be a part of crowd—just not the mainstream crowd. So focus on finding your tribe. To support yourself physically, pay attention to your ankles and nervous system.

Emotional Well-being: Aquarians are here as leaders, so it’s essential to march to the beat of your own drum, with a tribe of people who love and support you. Focus on developing emotional intimacy with yourself and others. Pay attention to your emotions and practice opening up to others.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

The most spiritually compounded sign of the zodiac, Pisces understands oneness. You emphasize compassion and have a strong understanding of nuance—the mix of spirituality and practicality. Because of this, you empathize with others well and are able to anticipate their needs with compassion. Your secret talent is healing and intuitive knowing—you have a great instinct towards understanding the mood of the environment around you and putting people at ease. But be aware of overwhelm and being too giving to your surroundings. Your sensitive nature can be enveloped by your environment if you don’t work on boundaries. Your wildly emotional, intelligent, and intuitive tendencies bring about a true talent for the non-verbal and artistic.

Business: Your talent as a natural healer can be well-leveraged in business. Tune into the needs of your business, your employees, and yourself, and bring a sense of ease when needed. Provide cohesion where there lacks a sense of order and organization. Back your dreams up with grounded action steps.

Health: From a health perspective, Pisceans have to stay mindful of addictions and codependency. Take extra care of your feet (your grounding force in life), as well as your immune system, especially the lymphatic system. Separate from your surroundings and create space for yourself. Meditate daily.

Emotional Well-being: Pisceans merge and flow with life, but tend to do so without really understanding boundaries. Take time to get clear on your own must-haves for health and success—is essential for your well-being. Learn to say NO. Religiously connect to your guidance system, and let your intuition lead you.

The Phases of the Moon

How To Get What You Want By Manifesting With The Phases of the Moon

My journey to health has been anything but smooth. By the time I turned 20, I had survived gynecological cancer and a radical hysterectomy, leading me to suddenly enter menopause. Any type of bodily rhythm I had was thrown out the door, sending my body into shock and me into a deep clinical depression.

I decided to take my healing into my own hands, and one thing that helped me immensely was living in sync with the phases of the moon. To my surprise, syncing with the moon not only helped me balance my emotional health, it also empowered me to pursue my dreams in a very heartfelt, authentic way.

Tapping into the moon’s cycle provides a powerful way to ground yourself, set intentions and channel potent energy to create the success you know you’re meant to achieve. Every 29.5 days, the moon cycles through four distinct phases: new, waxing, full, and waning. Each of these phases has a distinct energetic quality to it, lending well for certain activities, focuses, and ceremonies. In this guide, I’ll walk you through each phase of the moon and how to harness its energy for optimal rhythm and fulfillment.

Before we begin, remember that you are the expert of you. You know what you need and when you need it. What you find below are suggestions, things you might want to consider during each phase of the moon. These guidelines have informed my personal practice for years, but I do not do them exactly this way all of the time. I improvise, inuit and lean into what I am feeling. I invite you to do the same.

NEW MOON

The new moon happens when the sun and moon come into alignment—when the masculine energy of the sun merges with the feminine essence of the moon.  During this phase, there is a lull in energy as the moon and the sun are conjunct in the sky. When this happens energetically, it’s time to get still so we can get clear on the seeds we wish to plant and the new beginnings we want to anchor.

At the time of the new moon, you are at an important moment of rest and rejuvenation. This is a time to slow down, go inward to hear the deepest truth of your heart, and set a vision for what you want to create and conjure for yourself.

During a new moon and the week after, it’s time to breathe new life into any area of stagnation or any place in your life where you would like to impact positive change. The new moon is a great time to start new routines, launch projects, set intentions, and do visualizations and affirmations.

A New Moon Ritual

Just like the New Year, the new moon marks a new beginning and fresh start. During the new moon, focus on rituals that purify your mind and heart, and that will help you get clear on what you want to create for yourself in the next 29 days. This is a time of intense focus, attention, and intention.

  1. Set up a clean, calm, sacred space for your new moon ritual and reflection. It can be inside your home or outside, as long as it is comfortable to you and lets the energy flow. To clear the air and energy, consider smudging by burning a stick of sage. If you can, take out a clean piece of paper and a writing utensil that feels sacred to you. The point is to engage in the ritual in a way that makes it feel special and intentional.

  2. Tune into yourself, internally. Think about what you want to achieve, and your intentions for the next 29 days. Powerfully tap into the new moon energy, envisioning how this energy will support, sustain, protect, and enable you. Go within and listen to your deepest desires and wants. Connect with your values.

  3. Set your new moon intentions, keeping them focused and concise. As you write out your intentions, visualize them coming into being. See them happening. Then read your intentions out loud. If you can, do it in front of the mirror. Use your name and state your intention affirmatively. As a rule of thumb, read each of your intentions three times.

  4. When you feel complete, and have successfully conjured a sense of knowing for yourself and a feeling for what you are creating, allow yourself to sink into gratitude. Spend a few minutes savoring the present moment and the positive feelings of what you are creating and what you have already created. Throughout the lunar cycle, revisit your intentions to get grounded again.

WAXING MOON

During the waxing phase, the moon grows brighter in the sky. Just as the moon moves towards becoming full, this is the time for you to add energy to the momentum of all that you are creating in the world. During this phase, your confidence is generally heightened. You will feel more energetic and powerful, making this a great time for extroverted activities that allow you to get things done. Embrace exertion, and use the waxing moon to communicate, collaborate, contribute or simply become creatively inspired.

A Waxing Moon Ritual

  1. Continue to revisit your intentions each day, reading them aloud, and calling in a sense of action and purpose to really make your goals happen.

  2. Step it up a notch in your tempo. This is the time to be active, create, and get things done. There will be time for rest and reflection later, but take advantage of the increasingly powerful energy of the waxing phase to move your work towards completion.

  3. Surround yourself in inspiration. What symbols, images, and colors positively remind you of your intentions? What objects in your life help bring good energy? The main idea here is to create a supportive and energetic environment that allows you to naturally focus on everything you want to conjure for yourself.

  4. Sustain and grow your intentions by continuing to call upon these energies. Devote time each day to light candles, meditate, and check in with yourself inwardly. Slow down for a moment to witness your internal energy and the energy around you grow brighter and stronger with each passing moment.

FULL MOON

Full moons, in essence, are nourishing. Think about it: the moon, symbolic of the feminine, receives the light of the sun, shining it back to us with illumination. When the moon is full, its strongest gravitational pull on the earth makes for a time of peak creative energy and incredibly powerful intuitive breakthroughs. It’s the ultimate moment to embody the Divine Feminine. The full moon accentuates everything that you’ve been working on during the waxing phase.

Because the moon’s energy is extremely potent during this phase, it is an ideal time for socializing, difficult conversations, public presentations, risk taking and anything else that fosters one’s ability to create and expand community. High impact exercise does you exceptionally well now, as well as being bold across the boards in life.

A Full Moon Ritual

  1. Reconnect with your highest purpose and ideals. Take a look at the intentions that you set during the new moon, and take it a level deeper. Why did you make these intentions? What core mission in your life do they serve? Dig deep to unleash that inner motivation that fuels your achievement.

  2. Let go of what’s no longer serving you. You’ve identified your highest purpose. Now it’s time to evaluate, and make the necessary changes to get back into sync with your ideals. Full moons initiate the waning phase of the moon, a time of release. During the night of the full moon, spend a few minutes journaling and ask yourself—what do I need to let go of in order to step even more deeply into my authentic truth?

  3. Spend time outdoors under the moonlight. Moonlight is just as vital to women’s health as sunlight. It helps regulate the pituitary gland, which controls many of your body’s glands and hormones. As you connect with the moon’s light, open up the pathways to receive. Fill up on the lunar love. Let it permeate your body, penetrate your soul and evoke your truth within. Let it connect you to your own embodied power.

  4. Take a moment to celebrate and express gratitude. The full moon is the peak moment of the month. It is a time of completion, so acknowledge all that you have achieved and be thankful for the energy that you have let in. It allows you to move forward in the most powerful way possible. Honor this sacred time.

WANING MOON

When the moon begins to wane and the light disseminates, so should our outward attention. This is a call to go within and do the internal work of seeking answers and asking for direction. Grant yourself full permission to become more withdrawn as this is an evaluation phase.

We are far more sensitive to the emotional nuances of our subconscious and intuition during this phase. You may feel more called to nesting activities or more routine tasks. It’s a great time for administrative details, cleaning, long luxurious baths and other introverted activities that connect you to yourself on a deep, nurturing level.

Particularly during this time, our emotions are encrypted with messages regarding where we need to speak up or perhaps make changes in our lives. Listen intently for direction and guidance. It’s there for you!

A Waning Moon Ritual

Waning moons are particularly potent for releasing feelings, emotions, behaviors, relationships and other things that no longer serve our evolution or growth. Your waning moon ritual should focus on banishing what is blocking you, so that you are ready when the new moon starts again.

  1. Give yourself the permission to feel everything, and release pent-up emotions. Practicing radical acceptance of emotions serves you well at this time. Allow yourself to feel your let down, your annoyance, your hurt.

  2. As you embrace all your emotions, consciously choose to commit to what you want. Commit to your dream, your future, the goal that puts you into a flow state—that thing that happens when you are so engaged in what you are doing everything temporarily disappears. It’s time to speak your truth, and if you have to, fight for it. You are worthy of this.

  3. Let go of everything that is not serving you and your goals. Clear your energy of the past: old lovers, former jobs, perceptions from the past, even clutter in your home. Cleanse and purify your body, mind and physical space in order to move forward.

  4. If you want to take it one step further, write out what you wish to release on a small piece of paper. Make a small fire and burn that piece of paper. Let it burn out naturally, carrying away with it everything that is holding you back.

The Connection Between the Lunar Cycle and Your Menstrual Cycle

As you learn more about the cycles of your body and the cycles of the cosmos, remember that your body is the most important thing here. Your body is your oracle, and ultimately has the greatest effect on your well-being and success. Therefore, start with you: get to know your bodily cycles, and from there layer in the cycles of the cosmos.

Your lunar cycle and menstrual cycle have similar energetic qualities to how they work. They each have four complementary phases that last about the same amount of time. When you tune into these phases, you are better able to harness the energy of your body and the world around you for optimal health and more intentional living. Let’s take a closer look.

New Moon Phase / Menstrual Phase

When you have your period, you are in the symbolic new moon phase of your cycle. The entire phase of menstruation typically lasts between 3-7 days, shows a total absence of progesterone, and a small spike in estrogen, which then declines completely.

Waxing Moon Phase / Follicular Phase

The waxing moon phase nicely complements what is happening in your follicular phase, the time between your period and ovulation. At this point in the menstrual cycle, estrogen starts off low and begins to incline, readying your body for the release of an egg and a potential pregnancy. The increased estrogen spikes your serotonin.

Full Moon Phase / Ovulatory Phase

The strong energy of the full moon phase is matched in the ovulatory phase, which lasts about 3-4 days. This part of the menstrual cycle involves a quick rise in FSH and luteinizing hormone, as well as estrogen and testosterone. Because your testosterone is high, you may feel equally connected to your masculine side—making this an ideal time for action, risk taking and extroverted activities.

Waning Moon Phase / Luteal Phase

This phase occurs when the body is certain a pregnancy has not occurred, and is marked with increasing progesterone levels, the disappearance of FSH and luteinizing hormones, as well as a bit of a rollercoaster ride regarding estrogen levels. Progesterone will stop, triggering the period. Just as in the waning moon phase, this portion of the cycle takes a much more inward focus as hormonal shifts occur and PMS may begin.

New Rules of Success + Satisfaction for Women in Charge

Trust that we are all connected

Nothing happens in isolation. We are connected to the planets, to the moon, and to each other. Therefore we must acknowledge these bonds and honor ourselves as cosmic beings with great intuition, strength and power.

Know who you are. Be who you are.

Authenticity means finding ease in our being—both the shadow and the light. Understand your weaknesses and strengths, and live from a place of deep personal understanding and resilience. Allow yourself to be who you are authentically meant to be, and build a life that supports it.

Part of being authentic means devoting yourself to your truth. Take a few moments to dig deep on your values and truths, and make them a top priority for each day. Identify your passions and know you are on the right path.

Release the need to be perfect.

When we strive for perfection, we have standards that are high beyond reach or reason. This puts chronic stress on the body, negating the opportunity for real recovery, true health, and feeling at peace.

Instead, strive for progress. Go for excellence and take chances; just don’t let your accomplishments, or lack of them, define you or the way you see yourself.  We aren’t going for perfect—we’re going for resilient.

Practice mindful self-compassion.

In real life there is occasional pain, unhappiness, sadness, anger, as well as joy, satisfaction, happiness and love. The more we learn to dance with all of our emotions, the stronger our resilience, freedom, and consciousness. You are able to step into a bigger version of yourself and create what you really want.

This requires radical honesty, starting with feeling all of your emotions fully (even the ones you try to wish away), and not resisting your truth. When you encounter a strong, uncomfortable emotion, name it. Focus on transforming that energy into a more amicable and productive state of being. It’s your behaviors and actions that have ramifications, not your emotions.

Find flow.

Flow is the experience of being so engaged in what you are doing that nothing else matters. In flow, your creative faculties expand and distractions minimize. Similar to meditation, flow has the power to recalibrate your nervous system, liberating you to experience the present moment freely.

Connect with work that uses your gifts and provides you with pleasure and meaning. To enter flow, you need to have goals, access your passion, determine an appropriate level of challenge, receive immediate feedback, and use your strengths.

Work smart.

Spend time doing what you enjoy the most and are great at. Give yourself plenty of time to reflect, strategize and think creatively. Limit multitasking, and focus on one project at a time. This includes limiting the amount of time you spend each day reacting to immediate crises. Prioritize long-term projects with high value and high leverage. Delegate wisely.

Rest is one of the most important parts of working smart. Take full regeneration breaks every 90-120 minutes during the day. Go for a walk, engage in conversation and shift the focus entirely away from work. Be certain to take multiple email-free vacations throughout the year, and regular email-free nights and weekends.

Embrace stress.

Stress in healthy doses actually strengthens you, expanding your reach and enhancing your capacity to perform. Stress, punctuated by periods of relaxation and recovery, is a positive in your life.

Peak performance is about engaging challenges, while simultaneously fitting in highly efficient and effective recovery rituals to reset. This dance between exertion and recuperation not only enhances the rhythmicity in your life, but also strengthens your performance.

Embrace ease.

Know you are worthy, because you are. Your worth isn’t something you have to prove, earn, or maintain. It is your divine right. When you embrace life with this perspective, you can finally let go of the struggle.

Trust your intuition.

Begin to develop a relationship with yourself that allows you to make decisions guided by a strong, clear sense of internal purpose, without succumbing to external demands. Journal your thoughts on a regular basis, and develop a spiritual practice like meditation.

Know your cycles. Get shit done.

The more you tune into your body’s natural cycles as well as the celestial rhythms, the better you develop an appropriate relationship with stress and recovery. This amplifies your ability to be successful while simultaneously preventing sickness. Most importantly, you feel good and have an easier time sourcing your worth from within while being resilient in the face of external adversity.

To this end, tune in to the lunar cycle. Pay attention to your menstrual cycle. Be mindful of the time periods throughout the day when you are wired to get more done. Listen to your body, and leverage its power.

Take care of your body.

When you practice physical self-care, your body will in turn support you as you move forward with all the things you wish to accomplish. The guidelines are simple, but so important: get enough sleep. Eat frequent, balanced meals rich in protein, complex carbs and vegetables. Exercise regularly.

Live joyously.

Spend quality time with those you love most. Be of service and strive to make a positive difference in the world and in the lives of others. Practice gratitude. Develop your intellect by reading great books, having incredible conversations, and engaging with art.

Don’t forget you have a physical body, too. Eat lusciously. Dance. Have great sex. Embrace orgasm.

Learn to love the dark.

The monthly lunar and menstrual cycles both have death built in. Because of this, giving ourselves time to grieve, to be sad, and to feel pain is a way of owning our full feminine power. Happiness doesn’t always feel good. Just because we feel pain doesn’t mean we aren’t on a path to becoming our happiest selves. Embrace the waning cycles of life just as much as the waxing cycles.

Understand the meaning of resilience and live it—no matter what.

Resilience is our capacity to handle stress, trauma or loss, and simultaneously continue to move in the direction of flourishing anyway. Each of us has the ability to handle the ups and downs of life in a healthy way. We have the capacity to stay centered – even in the midst of extreme turmoil – and we are equipped to healthfully adapt to stressful situations. Resiliency is what allows us to rise in the presence of difficulty. Learn how to roll with the punches and grow in spite of them.

Unlock Your Feminine Power: Tying It All Together

Throughout this ebook you have learned how to leverage the wisdom of your astrological sun sign to access greater business success and well-being. You have learned how to live in sync with the phases of the moon to bring a sense of natural flow to your life and work. You have learned the new rules for success and satisfaction for women in charge.

But I would be lying if I said this is all you need to know to step into your whole self.

We are connected to the moon, the stars, our hormonal rhythm, and our impeccable intuition. Yet long ago modernity seized the legitimacy of this connection. And this loss is symbolic of a greater misplacement of power.

Unlocking our feminine power requires us to step fearlessly into a world that often tells us to suppress and be ashamed of our feminine tendencies. As women, we must remember that we are not little men. We must reclaim our natural birthright and find within the confidence and strength to lead ourselves to the life and success that we desire.

Take what you have learned today and commit to acknowledging both sides of who you are. Pay attention to your lunar being, the part of you that is cosmically influenced, intuition-driven, creative, and worldly nurturing. Do so in harmony with your logical being, the part of you that loves discipline, science, rationality and real-world action.

Now more than ever the world needs women who aren’t afraid of the dark and are fiercely devoted to the light. We must stay grounded as we face the challenges and setbacks inherent in the fast-paced world of accomplishment.

This means riding the waves of your emotions and using the dark to our benefit, rather than fearing it and losing power to it. This is about both coping and thriving. Through our ability to self-love and self-nurture, we can handle anything life throws our way. We can become invincible, unlocking our power to the fullest.

Step Into Your Feminine Power

Introduction: Lunar Logic Revolution Sun Signs The Phases of the Moon New Rules of Success for Women Unlock Your Feminine Power: Tying It All Together

Introduction: Welcome to the Lunar Logic Revolution

Welcome to the Lunar Logic Revolution.

My mission is to help you deeply honor the sacred and the ancient, and blend it with contemporary evidence-based practices too so you can reach your greatest soul driven potential.

The Lunar Logic Revolution is about living with feminine resilience, authenticity and conviction while embracing masculine attributes like determination and discipline. It’s about knowing who you are, and being who you are: no matter what.  It’s about understanding, and leveraging the cycles that govern your life. It’s about understanding how to navigate a dark night of the soul with grace and fortitude, as well as how to shoot for the stars with success and exaltation. It’s about blending your own intuitive guidance with a rock solid sensibility that keeps you grounded.

I believe we are able to give the best of what we have to offer when we acknowledge both the empirical and the intuitive: That’s why I combine the age-old science of the stars, planets, and moon; spiritual practices with the most up-to-date, evidence-based science as it applies to coaching, success, and women’s health strategies. We are on the brink of a revolution in the way women think about their bodies, their work, their purpose, their success, and their self-led destiny. It’s time for the modern woman to step into her true whole self, so she can take on the crazy, magical, wonderful, overwhelming life that is all hers.

The Lunar Logic Revolution is about wholeheartedly embracing the vulnerable and emotional side of being a woman without losing grip of our even keeled, grounded sensibility either. It’s about embracing our intuitive feeling nature with our discerning logic.

Lunar Logic stands for the reclamation of our ancient knowing– that as women we are cosmic beings connected to the moon and the planets, as well as our hormonal cycles.  It acknowledges our wild, intuitive, creative, right brain capacities as well as our community driven propensities–  without surrendering our drive to succeed, our left brain logical thinking, or our commitment to real world success either.  It’s about blending world class, evidence based, business and leadership practices with the intuitive, soul driven, applications– like astrology–to help modern women manage the stressors of 21st century living as the rise up in their own lives to make a difference in the world.

By blending astrology, positive psychology, cutting edge women’s health and leadership practices the Lunar Logic Revolution aims to help female entrepreneurs and businesswomen to:

  • Build a foundation of resilience, so no matter what happens in their life (or business), they can handle it
  • Reclaim and remain devoted to their intuition
  • Stay faithful to their dreams (despite the challenges of their day to day life)
  • Support themselves with abundant finances
  • Push the boundaries of what they think is possible in life
  • Lead from within and make a difference in the world around them
  • Work with the natural cycles of the cosmos and leverage these cycles to expand their power
  • Follow their internal rhythms to create more harmony, bliss and ease
  • Understand how their bodies as women work, and embrace a lifestyle that builds physical resilience and fortitude through taking care of hormonal health

I believe knowing who you are, and being who you are, is the first step to creating authentic success! So with that in mind, we’ll start of by digging into your core personality through your sun sign. Then we will learn how to work with the internal and external cycles to help you bring out your best work and optimal well-being. Then we will go over the new rules of success for women, so that you can sustainably and resiliently stay on this path to authenticity, natural flow, and well-being.

Sound good?  Let’s go!

I decided to take my healing into my own hands, and one thing that help me immensely was living in sync with the phases of the moon. To my surprise, syncing with the moon not only helped me balance my emotional health, it empowered me to pursue my dreams in a very heartfelt, authentic way.

Tapping into the moon’s cycle provides a powerful way to ground yourself, set intentions and channel potent energy to create the success you know you’re meant to achieve. Every 29.5 days, the moon cycles through four distinct phases: new, waxing, full, and waning. Each of these phases has a distinct energetic quality to it, lending well for certain activities, focuses, and ceremonies than others. In this guide, I’ll walk you through each phase of the moon and how to harness its energy for optimal rhythm and fulfillment.

However, just like you know you better than anyone can ever know you, you also know what you need and when you need it. What you find below are just guidelines, things you might want to consider during each phase of the moon. These guidelines have informed my personal practice for years, but I do not do them exactly this way all of the time.  I improvise, inuit and lean into what I am feeling.

NEW MOON

The new moon happens when the sun and moon come into alignment—when the masculine energy of the sun merges with the feminine essence of the moon.  During this phase, there is a lull in energy as the moon and the sun are conjunct in the sky. When this happens energetically, it’s time to get still so we can come to clarity about the seeds we wish to plant and the new beginnings we want to anchor.

A New Moon Ritual — 4 points

Just like the New Year, the new moon marks a new beginning and fresh start. During the new moon, focus on rituals that purify your mind and heart, and that will help you get clear on what you want to create for yourself in the next 29 days. This is a time of intense focus, attention, and intention.

  1. Find a clean, calm, sacred space. It can be inside your home or outside, as long as it is comfortable to you and lets the energy flow. For the time being, dedicate this space to your new moon ritual and reflection. To clear the air and energy, consider smudging by burning a stick of sage.

  2. Take out a clean piece of paper that feels sacred to you, preferably a special piece of stationary if you have it. Similarly, find a writing utensil that has a special feel to it. If you can’t find either, don’t worry. It’s not that huge of a deal—the point is to engage in the ritual in the most sacred way possible. Let every aspect of it feel special and intentional.

  3. Tune into yourself, internally. Think about what you want to achieve, your intentions for the next 29 days. Powerfully call in the new moon energy, envisioning how this energy will support, sustain, protect, and enable you. Go within and listen to your deepest desires and wants. Connect with your values.

  4. Write your list of new moon intentions. Keep your intentions focused and concise. As you write out your intentions, visualize them coming into being. See them happening.

  5. Now that your intentions are written out, read them out loud. If you can, do it in front of the mirror. Use your name and state your intention affirmatively. As a rule of thumb, read each of your intentions three times.

  6. When you feel complete, and have successfully conjured a sense of knowing for yourself and a feeling for what you are creating, allow yourself to sink into gratitude. Spend a few minutes savoring the positive feelings of what you are creating, what you have already created, and for your present even as it exactly is.

  7. Put your intentions somewhere sacred. Over the next couple of days, take them out and read them aloud again.

WAXING MOON

During the waxing phase, the moon grows brighter in the sky and moves towards becoming full. The waxing moon notes a time to add energy to the momentum of all that you are creating in the world. During this phase, your confidence is generally heightened. It’s a time for exertion, and you will feel more energetic and powerful, making this a great time for extroverted activities that allow you to get things done. Use the waxing moon to communicate, collaborate, contribute or simply become creatively inspired.

A Waxing Moon Ritual

  1. Continue to revisit your intentions each day, reading them aloud, and calling in a sense of action and purpose to really make your goals happen.

  2. Step it up a notch in your tempo. This is the time to be active, create, and get things done. There will be time for rest and reflection later, but take advantage of the increasingly powerful energy of the waxing phase in your work.

When the moon is full, its peak gravitational pull on the earth makes for a time of peak creative energy and incredibly powerful intuitive breakthroughs– a moment to embody the Divine Feminine. The full moon accentuate everything that you’ve been working on during the waxing phase.  Full moons at times may also feel chaotic and stressful.  Channel this energy productively.

Tonight, spend a few minutes journaling and ask yourself—what do I need to let go of in order to step even more deeply into my authentic truth?

  3. Spend time outdoors under the moonlight. Moonlight is just as vital to women’s health as sunlight. It helps regulate the pituitary gland, assisting with the regulation of female hormones. As you connect with the moon’s light set the intention to enter into a deeper state of receptivity in your life. Open up the pathways to receive. Fill up on the lunar love. Let it permeate your body. Penetrate your soul. Evoke within your truth. Connect you to your own embodied power.

  4. Take a moment to celebrate and express gratitude. The full moon is the peak moment of the month. It is a time of completion, so acknowledge all that you have achieved and be thankful for the energy that you have let into your life, that allows you to move forward in the most powerful way possible. Honor this sacred time.

WANING MOON

When the moon begins to wane and the light disseminates, so should our outward attention. This is a call to go within and do the internal work of seeking answers and asking for direction. Grant yourself full permission to become more withdrawn as this is an evaluation phase, a time to tap into your more intuitive and introverted side.

We are far more sensitive to the emotional nuances of our subconscious and intuition during this phase. You may feel more called to nesting activities or more routine tasks. It’s is a great time for administrative details, cleaning, long luxurious baths and other introverted activities that connect you to yourself on a deep, nurturing level.

Our emotions are encrypted with messages regarding where we need to speak up or perhaps make changes in our lives. Listen intently for direction and guidance during this period.

Allow yourself to feel your let down, your annoyance, your hurt, and then choose to commit to what you want. Commit to your dream, your future, the goal that puts you into a flow state— that thing that happens when you are so engaged in what you are doing everything temporarily disappears. It’s time to speak your truth, and if you have to, fight for it. You are worthy of this.

  2. While in this phase, let go of everything that is not serving you and your goals. Clear your energy of the past: old lovers, former jobs, perceptions from the past, even clutter in your home. Cleanse and purify your body, mind and physical space in order to move forward.

  3. If you want to take it one step further, write out what you wish to release on a small piece of paper. Make a small fire and burn that piece of paper. If you do not have a fireplace or a fire pit in your backyard, here’s how you can make a small fire in your kitchen: find a small stove top pot and line it with tin foil. Next, add a cup of Epsom salts and a small amount of rubbing alcohol to the pot. Now, take the piece of paper with what you are symbolically releasing written on it, light it with a match and drop it into the pot to ignite the fire. Stay by the stove until it burns out completely. If the fire gets too big, you can add more Epsom salts to put it out. Otherwise, let it burn out naturally.

The Connection Between the Lunar Cycle and Your Menstrual Cycle

menstrual cycle trumps your lunar cycle, your body is your oracle, your body is the most important thing here. know your body circles, and from there layer in the cycles of the lunar, celestial. start with you.

It’s a widely known fact that there is a connection between the phases of the moon and your period—it’s just one of the many ways our bodies and nature tune into each other to develop a natural rhythm.

Your lunar cycle and menstrual cycle have similar energetic qualities to how they work. They each have four complementary phases that last about the same amount of time. The moon has the new, waxing, full, and waning phases, while the menstrual cycle has menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal phases. When you tune into these phases, you are better able to harness the energy of your body and the world around you for optimal health and more intentional living. Tuning into the lunar cycle is especially helpful for women who no longer menstruate and thus no longer have that strong internal rhythm to guide their states of expansion and contraction.

New moon phase — Similarly, when you have your period, you are in the symbolic new moon phase of your cycle. The entire phase of menstruation typically lasts between 3-7 days, shows a total absence of progesterone, and a small spike in estrogen, which then declines completely.

Waxing moon phase — The waxing moon phase nicely complements what is happening in your follicular phase, the time between your period and ovulation. At this point in the menstrual cycle, estrogen starts off low and begins to incline, readying your body for the release of an egg and a potential pregnancy. The increased estrogen spikes your serotonin.

Full moon phase — This strong energy is matched in the ovulatory phase, which lasts about 3-4 days. This part of the menstrual cycle involves a quick rise in FSH and luteinizing hormone, as well as estrogen and testosterone. Because your testosterone is high, you may feel equally connected to your masculine—making this an ideal time for socializing, difficult conversations, public presentations, risk taking and anything else that fosters one’s ability to create and expand community.

Waning moon phase — Likewise in the luteal phase. This portion of the cycle takes a much more inward focus as hormonal shifts prepare and PMS may begin.

New Rules of Success + Satisfaction for Women in Charge

Trust that We are all connected

Women are cosmic beings, with great intuition, strength and power.  Nothing happens in isolation. We are connected to the planets, to the moon, and to each other.

Know who you are. be who you are.

Authenticity means finding ease in our being—both the shadow and the light. Understand your weaknesses and strengths, and live from a place of deep personal understanding and resilience. Allow yourself to be who you authentically meant to be and build a life that supports it.

Take a few moments to dig deep on your values and truths, and make them a top priority for each day. Identify your passions and know you are on the right path.

Embrace imperfection.

Release the need to be perfect.

Perfectionism is different from excellences, and you can achieve excellence without perfection. The drive towards perfection is a symptom of the need for control, for protection from criticism and failure. When we strive for perfection, we have standards that are high beyond reach or reason, and we are never truly happy with where we are now. This puts chronic stress on the body, negating the opportunity for real recovery, true health, and feeling at peace.

Instead, know why you want what you want, and align it with who you truly are. Strive for progress. Go for excellence and take chances; just don’t let your accomplishments, or lack of them, define you or the way you see yourself.   We aren’t going for perfect, we’re going for resilient. Practice Mindful Self Compassion

In real life there is occasional pain, unhappiness, sadness, anger, as well as joy, satisfaction, happiness and love. The more we learn to dance with all of our emotions, the stronger we become. When we accept the difficulties and discomfort, we are better able to create what we really want.

Accepting all of your emotions leads to more resilience, freedom, and consciousness. You are able to step into a bigger version of yourself.

We’re striving for equanimity Permit yourself to feel everything but don’t ruminate on it or let it control you.

Work smart

Spend time doing what you enjoy the most and are great at to access your flow. Give yourself plenty of time to reflect, strategize and think creatively. Limit multitasking, and focus on one project at a time. This includes limiting the amount of time you spend each day reacting to immediate crises. Prioritize long-term projects with high value and high leverage.

Take full regeneration breaks every 90-120 minutes during the day. Go for a walk, engage in conversation and shift the focus entirely away from work. (Put down the laptop and step away from the computer.) Be certain to take multiple email-free vacations throughout the year, and regular email-free nights and weekends.

Embrace stress.

Stress in healthy doses actually strengthens you, expanding your reach and enhancing your capacity to perform. Stress, punctuated by periods of relaxation and recovery, is a positive in your life.

Peak performance is about engaging challenges, while simultaneously fitting in highly efficient and effective recovery rituals to reset your relationship with stress. This dance between exertion and recovery, disengagement and reengagement, not only enhances the rhythmicity in your life, but also strengthens you while enhancing your performance.   and honor a cycle of exertion and recovery

Embrace ease

Know you are worthy, because you are.  Your worth isn’t something you have to prove, earn, or maintain.  It’s your divine right.  When you come from this perspective, that you are worthy because you are, and this is your divine right, you can finally let go of the struggle.

Trust your intuition.

Begin to develop a relationship with yourself that allows you to make decisions guided by a strong, clear sense of internal purpose, without succumbing to external demands. Journal your thoughts on a regular basis, and develop a spiritual practice, like meditation.

Know your cycles. Get shit done.

Live in sync with the cycles of your body and the cycles of the cosmos. Learn to observe and acknowledge the subtlety of your emotional body. Each of us has a time period throughout the day when we are biologically wired to get more done. Knowing when this is allows you to leverage peak productivity hours to your advantage. Further, we each have daily and monthly rhythms that require us to stop and recover, like our menstrual cycles and the lunar cycle.

Peak performance is about learning to recover adequately from stress at the right intervals. Learn to observe and acknowledge the subtlety of your emotional body.

The more you tune into your bodies natural cycles as well as the celestial rhythms, the better you develop an appropriate relationship with stress and recovery, which amplifies your ability to be successful while simultaneously preventing disease. Most importantly, you feel good and have an easier time sourcing your worth from within while being resilient in the face of external adversity.

Let your body support you.

Sleep 7-9 hours per night regularly. Eat a breakfast with adequate protein and have consistent meals throughout the day. Balance high-quality protein with complex carbs and vegetables the rest of your day. Exercise regularly.

Delegate. Don’t do it all alone. Develop your team. Work in community.

Live joyously

Consciously use gratitude. Spend quality time with those you love most. Strive to make a positive difference in the world and in the lives of others. Be of service.  Develop your intellect. Read great books, have incredible conversations, engage with art. Don’t forget you have a physical body too. Eat lusciously. Have great sex. Embrace orgasm.

Learn to love the dark: The monthly lunar and the monthly menstrual both have death built in, and because of this, giving ourselves time to grieve, to be sad, and feel into our pain as needed (preferably monthly) is way of owning our full feminine power. Happiness doesn’t always feel good.  Just because we feel pain doesn’t we aren’t on a path to becoming our happiest selves. Embrace the waning cycles of life just as much as the waxing cycles.

Understand the meaning of resilience and live it, no matter what. Learn how to roll with the punches and grow ins pite of them, no matter what!

Unlock Your Feminine Power: Tying It All Together

You are worthy because you are.  Embrace the ease of this.

ride the waves of your emotions. It’s so important to be able to ride the waves of whatever is happening, surrender to it, know that it does not define who you are, recognize it, through self-care you can live with whatever comes your way. this is the key to staying grounded, using the dark to our benefit rather than fearing it and losing power to it. This is about both coping and thriving.  through our ability to self-love and self-nurture, we can handle anything life throws our way.  With that understanding we become invisible.  thus we unlock our power to the fullest.

as women, we are not little men. we rise and fall with the phases of our body and the moon, we are constantly being informed by intuitive energy way more than men, and so we need to be grounded. unlocking our feminine power means being not afraid and using all of this to our advantage.

Lunar represents our intuition. The more we can learn to hear our intuition, honor it, and let it lead us, the easier life becomes.  Further, when we faithfully follow our intuition with unflinching devotion, we can move mountains (without a single drop of wasted sweat)!

Logic represents using the best of modern science and strategy to thrive in life and in business. where women chart their success, change their lives and sustain their results

If you want to create success on your own terms, expand your sense of abundance while feeling totally on purpose in your career, have a bigger impact and less burnout, and the capacity to gracefully withstand the natural low points of your life while you build your resilience,

We are connected to the moon, the stars, our hormonal rhythm, and our impeccable intuition, yet long ago modernity seized the  legitimacy of this connection.  And this loss is symbolic of a greater misplacement of power.  It’s time that we reclaim our natural birthright, and do so in harmony with our left brain, logical capacity so we can create real world results, expand our leadership and impact.

The world needs women who aren’t afraid of the dark and are fiercely devoted to the light.  Feminine power requires being in touch with both the light and the dark. We must remain devoted to our authentic selves even when we face the challenges and setbacks inherent in the fast-paced world of accomplishment. As women we are biologically connected to the moon, our hormonal rhythms, and our impeccable intuition. We have an undeniable, cyclical, connection to the watery depths of our emotional nature and this connection is crucial to enlivening  our most profound creative abilities.  Yet, we live in a paradox too.  While our emotions are powerful and important we have the capacity to  process and feel them in such a way where we can remain grounded and resilient. Our rhythms and cycles wax and wane, like the moon providing us with both yin and yang experiences
