Pisces Zodiac Sign: The Empath, Healer, Visionary.

pisces zodiac sign

Pisces (February 19th – March 20th)

Pisces Sun Sign

As the seasons converge and the seasons change, the last dregs of winter mix with the first blush of spring (if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, that is). Breath still curdles in the air, but pale green shoots start to unfold from the soil. This sense of “in-betweenness” is the essence of the Pisces star sign. It’s the time of day when both the sun and moon are visible, the magic of twilight, and an unwavering trust in the Universe.

There’s no doubt about it—as the last sign of the zodiac, you’re born with an innate sense of wisdom that takes the rest of us a lifetime—or lifetimes—to accumulate. As a mutable water sign, sensing the surrounding energy fields of people and places is as easy as breathing for you, which is why you aren’t satisfied with a “normal” life. By regularly transcending your physical body and touching down on the energy fields of others, you can escape your own limitations and experience a wider, multi-dimensional world. This is like a balm for your overstimulated soul.

Another way to transcend the mundane is through your dreams.

Ruled by imaginative Neptune, your visions are both potent and possible. You tend to lean toward the arts and spiritual exploration as a method of bringing your dreams into reality while processing your more earthly emotions. Think of artistic pursuits as a way to give yourself a much-needed timeout from physical reality—you can dance, paint, or draw your way back to emotional equilibrium.

Many traditional religious institutions possess the Piscean undertones of service and sacrifice. But with this conviction comes the idea that to truly be of service is also to suffer. This is the leftover of thousands of years of misguided religious principles—not something for you to harbor within your subconscious. It’s imperative you don’t carry that with you in this lifetime, love.

You possess the sage-like wisdom needed to change hearts and minds. Between your creative intuition and the depths of your empathy, you have tremendous gifts to share with the world. Give yourself permission to drop the dogmatic baggage and rise.

Pisces Rising Sign

When your rising sign falls in ethereal Pisces, you come across as someone who knows everything, but not in the traditional, masculine sense. Your knowledge comes from somewhere beyond this place—a spiritual gift received, not attained—and you’ve been chosen to absorb it all.

People tend to see you as a sensitive soul who’s quick to overwhelm—and they aren’t wrong. Because you feel so deeply, it can be tough for you to stay in loud or chaotic environments. It’s too much energy, too much emotion for your soft-heart to handle. You’re at your best when with a small group of trusted friends, preferably somewhere healing like the shoreline of a gently lapping ocean.

You feel at home in places like this because, like the trees and oceans, you’re also a natural healer. Others sense this about you, so don’t be surprised if anyone and everyone shows up to dump their energetic baggage on you. While you prefer to go with the flow, it’s best if you learn to set some firm boundaries when it comes to your energy, love. A healer is no good to anyone if she can’t care for herself.

Pisces Moon Sign

As a Pisces moon, there’s no emotional crevice you haven’t experienced. You’re an energetic sponge—you pick up every feeling in your environment without even trying. Sometimes it can be tough to decipher which emotions belong to you and which ones were left behind for you to collect.

Your impeccable intuition when it comes to people, places, and emotions puts others at ease. They innately understand they can trust you with their energy. And while your giving soul doesn’t mind taking some of the load off of others, you have to be careful of short-circuiting, love. You were built differently than the rest of us, and you need to give your nervous system the rest and relaxation it deserves.

To give yourself a full-on reboot, surround yourself with soothing art and music, and spend some time in a room painted with calming blues and greens. Trust me, your body, mind, and soft heart will thank you for the time to recover.

Are you ready to embody your cosmic destiny?

If you’re lucky enough to have a Pisces sun, moon, or ascendant in your chart, it’s time to show us all the immense power of compassion, and to fully embody Oneness. It’s time to heal yourself—and the planet—with the understanding that once we are whole, we are unstoppable.

As women and woman-identifying people, we’ve come to a crossroads in our political and social history. It’s time for us to fully embody our highest potential and put to use our greatest spiritual gifts for the betterment of our world. It’s time for us dive deeper into our personal soul-traits so that we can leave a wider, more powerful imprint on this critical moment in time.

Join me for my annual Moon Cycle Embodiment Challenge starting on November 7th. The very next day, Jupiter, the planet of good luck, good fortune and abundance enters into Sagittarius, we’ll begin. You’ll learn how to harness the 28-day cycle and unparalleled energy of the moon to renew your feminine connection, deepen self-care practices, reclaim your health rhythm, and learn more about astrology. *This challenge is for anyone who identifies as female.

I really enjoyed what you wrote on Pisces. My birthday is March 9th. I never understood myself when I was younger. I just turned 40 and I see things so different now then I did when I was 20. I love reading what others see.

Wow! I randomly found this page. I love all of this. My birthday is also March 9 and I just turned 40. So much of my thinking, awareness and spiritual growth changes have happened. I’m still finding my way to my true purpose but I know I’m on the brink of it. I’ve been getting many signs and experiences.

my birthday is 03-09-1977 8.34 am, I am trying to understand my energy I was extremely psychic until about ten years ago, I feel I have lost that ability, i am an extreme empath where I have crippled myself with emotions that I do not need to carry and problems that I did not need to be a part of…

Hi, I feel you. Since I was little u never felt like I belong in this world. People don’t understand me, I have always at the beach. It feels like home. I go there for hours, thinking. I thought I was the only one. Until I joined Pisces groups about couple of months ago. Now I can relate to others. I like it. K learned a lot from them. And reading up on Pisces. I am so much like my sign. Im loving being a Pisces. Thank you for putting this article out

At 59 I am only now coming to grips with a lifetime of the unrealized consequences of being empathic. I too have always sought out quiet places like the forest and ocean to (unknowingly) discharge the emotional capacitor that had collected the feelings of others. It always gave me an enormous sense of peace for a short while.

I just stumbled on this page. I enjoyed reading this so much. My birthday is March 11th. I also felt that I didn’t belong anywhere in this world when I was younger. I felt so displaced, alone, and often misunderstood. But as I grew older I realized that I am a healer and an empath, as well as a sponge. This is an awesome find. Thank you!

I am also March 11th! My mother has always been into astrology and charts, which at 31 i still struggle to understand. I obtain so much from these articles as well as my mother but I still feel there’s more to know and unravel! I’ve been told I’m a strong empath, I take on too much around me. I’m just happy to know another March 11th baby exists!

Thanks for this inspirational motivation, I read so much on Pisces especially being evolved or un-evolved. I accept my negative traits that our sign has and some I have in my past self that lead me to not elevate compared to where I am now. The mind is powerful and to live in a more peaceful positive state it takes meditation, being mindful of your environment and energies plus using each day as a reminder of progression is possible! 😊❤️
