For Mari Leon-Hernandez, first came the yoga certification. Then schooling in nutrition, and finally, tantra. This triple-threat combination blossomed into an empowerment coaching practice that eventually allowed Leon-Hernandez to ditch her corporate job for job. “I thought [the coaching practice] would be a great opportunity for me to step away from the corporate world because it wasn’t fulfilling to me anymore,” she says. “I was not happy with my health or my relationships and so I integrated the nutrition side with mindset and positive psychology and also neo-tantra. That has been so fulfilling.”
While Mari had been mildly curious about astrology, she hadn’t incorporated it into her daily life.
She’d been following Racioppi on social media for a bit and found her astrological updates unique and fun to read, but she hadn’t yet thought much about how the sun and stars could elevate her new coaching practice. Then she went to Racioppi’s astrology session at Soul Camp.
“After that, I was magnetized to her, “Mari says. “I filled out my application to join Moon School right away. It didn’t even matter what she was offering because I just wanted to be around her brilliance as an astrologer and coach.”
She joined Moon School, unsure of what to expect from the Racioppi’s individual coaching or the astrology aspect of the program. She hadn’t yet worked with Jenn in either capacity. Quickly, Leon-Hernandez became enraptured with Racioppi’s teachings. “I became more interested [in astrology] as Moon School kept going. It gave me an understanding into my own behaviors and patterns, given where the planets were at the time where I was born. It just gave me another lens to see my life. To understand how I behave. How I present myself in the world. It helped me have a lot of compassion for myself.”
Mari is quick to point out that this newfound self-knowledge didn’t feel restricting in the least.
In fact, astrology helped her feel more empowered than ever. “Now I can leverage my own behaviors and traits to take my life to a different level,” she says. “It showed me where I had to do my own work and those areas where things came easy to me. For example, I’m a person who’s very outgoing and I like to have fun, so knowing those things when I approach a project, I know I have to incorporate fun and music so I can be more productive. That’s where I gained the most wisdom going through Moon School.”
Leon-Hernandez credits Jenn’s impeccable ability to hold space so she and other participants could let the messages astrology has to tell unfold over time.
Of Racioppi, she says, “Jenn is a masterful coach. She helped us learn astrology through digging deeper so we could find our own answers over time. She reflects back to all of us, all of the answers she hears us say with a lot of love and compassion. That’s what creates change.”
Registration for Moon School 2020 opens March 19, 2020. The program kicks off in May, and the Italy retreat is October 10th-17th. It’s a serious investment and admission is by application only, but Racioppi tells me the parameters are necessary. “One thing I know for sure about Moon School is you have to be available to do the work. If you say yes to it and to the work, transformation is happening.”
